After Songs

We don't keep the ones we lose.

We keep the ones we remember.

What After Songs is

A song written to remember and honour the ones we lose.

Made from what your family remembers.

You don't have to know what to say. We ask the questions — their habits, their sayings, the small things — and we write the song from your answers.

Not a cover. Not a slideshow with music underneath. A new song that did not exist before.

  • You won't be doing this alone.
  • Any style you want — a hymn, a ballad, something they'd have laughed at.
  • Every word approved before a note is made.
  • A private page for them — yours to share with everyone who loved them.

Photographs sit in a drawer. Flowers dry out. A song gets shared, played at Christmas, on their birthday, or just because.

A song is how you remember them out loud.

It's how you honour them, and how you share them.

Examples

Four songs, four different people.

We wrote these to show what's possible. A family's own song stays private unless they ask otherwise.

    The house goes quiet first.

It takes a while. That's allowed.

    How it works

    Three steps. About two days.

Nothing is recorded until you approve every word.

    1. 1

      Tell us about them

A short form — five minutes, or thirty-five if you want to tell us everything.

    2. 2

      You read the lyrics

We send them within 12 hours. Change anything, as many times as it takes.

    3. 3

      The song arrives

On a private page you can play and share from any phone.

Need it sooner? Priority delivery within 24 hours, €25.

Then one evening, someone plays it.

    What you keep

    What you keep forever.

Not a file that sits in a drawer — a place you can return to.

      A private memorial page

A link, not a lonely download. Share it with family anywhere in the world.

Both yours to keep — full length, and a shorter one for the funeral or the month's mind.

      To print and keep.

    • 04

    • 06

      Two revision rounds included

Nothing is recorded until you say yes.

      Downloadable

So it plays in a church or crematorium with no wifi.

Private by default. Their page is never public and never indexed unless you ask.

And the room fills with them again.

    Their page

This is the page the family receives.

One link. It opens straight to their name and their song.

No account, no app, no sign-in. Grandparents manage it on the first try.

Add photographs whenever you're ready and we'll make a keepsake video, free. No likes, no comments — nothing to scroll past.

And it needn't stop at one song. The album grows with the family.

It plays in their houses too.

A light on in every window that knew them.

    Even the ones miles away.

    Questions

    Questions families ask.

I'm not good with words. Is that a problem?

No. Most people say the same thing. You don't need to write anything beautiful — you need to tell us what you remember. "She always had the immersion on." "He called everyone 'chief'." That's the material. We do the rest.

    How long does it take?

You'll have the lyrics within 12 hours of your order. Once you approve every word, the finished song arrives within 48 hours. If you need it sooner, priority delivery is €25 and takes 24 hours.

What if the lyrics aren't right?

We rewrite them. Nothing is recorded until you approve every word. If they still aren't right after that, you get every cent back.

    Who else can hear it?

Only who you send it to. The page is private by default, never public and never indexed unless you ask us to make it so.

Can we play it at the funeral?

Yes, and many families do. That's why there's a shorter version. You can download the file so it works without wifi in the church or the crematorium.

Does it have to be for a funeral?

No. Plenty are made months or years later — for a month's mind, an anniversary, a birthday, or for no occasion at all. Honouring them doesn't end.

What if more than one of us wants to contribute?

Good. Send the form link around the family. The more voices, the more the song sounds like the person everyone actually knew.

Can we hear it before we pay?

You see and approve the lyrics before anything is recorded. Payment is taken when you order, and the guarantee covers it — if the lyrics still aren't right after rewrites, you get every cent back.

Every time it's played, another room fills with them.

When you're ready, tell us about them.

At the funeral, at the month's mind, on their birthday — or just when you miss them. Honouring them doesn't end.

    Listen

    Listen to some examples.

Every one of these began with a family writing down what they remembered. Play any of them — they'll keep going, one after the next.

Recordings are being made now. The players are live — the songs land here shortly.
